Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Fixly AI LLC, which operates Lanski, for using the Lanski app and lanski.ai. By using the app you agree to them.

What Lanski does

You describe a plumbing problem to the Lanski assistant. It asks a few questions, then shows what is most likely wrong and a price for each likely fix. If you want the work done, you can ask for a plumber. A local plumber who accepts your request calls you at the number you signed in with to arrange the visit. Lanski serves Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties in Florida.

The assistant uses AI and works only from what you tell it, so it can be wrong. What it shows is an estimate, not an inspection. The plumber confirms the cause on site.

How the price works

• You agree the price before anyone comes. Your quote has a card for each likely cause, with the price for that repair. When you ask for a plumber, you agree to those prices.
• The plumber confirms the cause, then fixes it for the price on that card. That price is what you pay for that repair.
• “Priced on site” means the cause needs a look first. The plumber tells you the price before starting, and you decide whether to go ahead.
• Anything else is your choice. If the plumber finds work that is not on your quote, they tell you the price first. You can say no.

Lanski does not take payment in the app. You pay the plumber for the work they do.

Plumbers and availability

Plumbers who take jobs through Lanski are independent businesses. The plumber who accepts your request does the work and is responsible for it; Lanski connects you and records the price you agreed.

Sending a request does not guarantee that a plumber will accept it, or call by a certain time. If your area is not listed in the app, we do not serve it yet.

Your account

• You must be at least 18.
• Use your real name and the address where the work is needed.
• You sign in with a phone number you control. Keep your phone secure: anyone who has it may be able to use your account.
• You can delete your account in the app under Help & privacy, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Using Lanski fairly

Do not:

• send fake requests, or requests for an address where you have no right to have work done;
• harass, threaten or mislead a plumber or anyone else;
• use anyone’s contact details for anything other than the job they were shared for;
• try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, disrupt the service, or copy it with automated tools;
• use Lanski for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. You keep ownership of what you write, and you allow us to use it to run and improve Lanski. The app, its content and the Lanski name belong to Fixly AI LLC.

Our responsibility

We provide the app “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always work, be free of errors, or that a diagnosis will be right. To the fullest extent the law allows, Fixly AI LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from your use of the app, and is not responsible for the work a plumber does. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it applies. Using the app after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States law. Disputes go to the courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
